The
Centre for Widows and Children Assistance (CWCA) vision is to have a society that respects and upholds human
rights.
The
Centre for Widows and Children Assistance (CWCA) mission is to enhance, promote, and defend the
rights of widows and children through raising awareness of their rights, to
advocate for progressive policies and laws and to provide legal aid and
information sharing in Tanzania.
The
primary objectives of CWCA are; to promote, protect, and enhance the legal,
economic, social, political status and human rights with special emphasis on
widows and children, It also intends to restore dignity of widows and children
who have undergone torture, humiliation, harassment and eviction in order to
enable them realize their personal rights.
